The light operates on some sort of resistive touch on the nearby plug area... however, this seems to be triggered by anything. I like to rest my phone in a cup holder while charging in my car and often times the LED comes on without me touching it. During the day, this isn't the worst thing ever, but at night it can be obnoxious and even a little distracting.

Galaxy 4.0

Had the case about 2 weeks now. It's a decent case considering what you pay for it. The kick stand was very stiff at first and the first time I pulled it out the little tab that holds it closed broke off. Doesn't really affect it much though. It fit perfectly and I would consider purchasing another one. With that said just keep in mind that it is cheaply made but will still do its job. It just won't last as long as the more expensive ones.

Really like the case because of the kick stand and the attention to detail in being able to access all the ports for the tablet. Pen is surprisingly useful, who knew!? So far very kid proof.
